WHAT THE?
So you think your bar sells a lot of Arrogant Bastard Ale, huh? But is it REALLY a lot of the Arrogance? Are you willing to put your pub's reputation on the line? If you are, now is the time to step up to the plate and see if, indeed, your bar could be called "The Most Arrogant Bar In America!"
The bar that sells the most Arrogant Bastard Ale from Saturday, July 17th to Saturday, July 31st will be crowned the winner and will supplant Brews Café of Granville, Ohio who was the inaugural winner in 2003 (that is unless those crazy Bastards win again!). Regular customers of the winning bar will earn the right to have fizzy yellow beer drinkers grovel at their feet for 365 days and the publican will receive a splendid plaque proclaiming the establishment as "The Most Arrogant Bar In America - 2004."
Here's what you need to do and need to know:
The competition will run from 7/17/04 - 7/31/04 and you can enter a bar up until Friday, July 16th (however the earlier the better if you really want them to win). The tallying of the beer sold will be on the "honor system" but will verified by the appropriate distributor/wholesaler for the specific bar...remember our gargoyle is watching!
Don't be an idiot --- know your limits. Don't drink and drive. If you want your bar to win, don't do it by over-consuming, instead do it by calling your friends, neighbors, and co-workers and turning them on to the one-and-only Arrogant Bastard Ale...they'll certainly thank you!
